This kit includes a 125/140 mm aka 5.5 inch Pad King Spitfire green all rounder pad that pays tribute to one of the last Australian made HSV Commodores, the VF GTSR in beautiful Spitfire Green colour. If you would prefer the larger 155/170 mm size, you can select that in the options
The spitfire green all rounder pad is our most popular pad and is extremely versatile and durable with a very high density foam construction, foam pore/cell size that’s just right – not too aggressive and not too gentle. Capable of doing light cutting, light to heavy polishing and finishing on many paints. Excellent cut and a high gloss all in one pad.
The Midas touch gold foam pad is the All Rounder’s partner in shine and is one step down in aggression from the green pad and is ideal for doing gloss enhancement polishing services, polishing B and C Pillar piano black trim pieces and using as a wash marring and light swirl remover and an excellent finishing pad on medium to hard paints but possibly even some soft medium ones. This pad may surprise you with it’s finishing ability given the foam cell size it has to give it two and a half times the defect removal performance of most pads.
These two foams can cater for at least fifty percent of what any enthusiast or professional would need a foam polishing pad to do with much higher rated technical specifications so they can handle the forces that modern polishing machines put on them
You also get with this kit a 75 mm/three inch Afterburner pad to test out with any polisher.
The Afterburner pad is our most aggressive pad and is capable of reducing or removing bird poo etching, shrink back marks, orange peel in soft to medium hardness paints and faster sanding mark removal than wool after dust nib sanding.
Foam pad uses – One step paint correction, gloss enhancements on medium to hard paint, after wool pads to remove any induced haze, marring or holograms from the wool pads.
